Mission

The Coroner's office operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The function of the Coroner's office is to investigate and determine the cause, manner and circumstance of any death that occurs in our county under the Georgia Death Investigation Act. This includes cases of homicide, suicide, accidental death, and all natural deaths that are sudden, unexpected, or medically unattended.
