Hotel/Motel Tax Reporting

Hotel/Motel reports must be submitted each month regardless of whether there have been any rentals or not. If you have not had any rentals, complete the form with “$0.00”.

This report is due on the 20th of the month following the previous month reported, The report and payment may be hand delivered to our office or mailed by the 20th. The Commissioners Office is located at 150 Hudson Ridge, Suite 1, Homer, GA 30547.  If you have questions, you may call 706-677-6800.  On reports submitted timely, you may deduct a 3% “collector’s compensation”.  However, if you are late, you will not qualify for this deduction and you must submit the penalty and interest fees as indicated on the form.
