GIS Data and Maps

GIS Data is sold three (3) ways:

Digital data is sold as a county-wide data set or by the acre.  All digital data requires a signed License Agreement for release.  The data format can be Shapefile or CAD drawing. Preferred delivery is through Dropbox.  County-wide data sets will require pick up or shipment of CD sets.  

Printed Maps are prepared from predefined templates such as property lines, contours (topography), flood zones, zoning & imagery for an Area of Interest.
Also available are a variety of prepared (static) maps for printing, viewing and/or free download.  Additional prepared maps will be added as the need arises. 

Custom Mapping Projects refers to custom maps not included in the "Printed Maps" pricing.

Download of these maps are free but are for informational purposes only and should not be used to settle any legal disputes or used in place of any legal surveys or documentation.

NEW online mapping available. 

Currently we have the County's Zoning Map. This County zoning map is intended to be dynamic. Changes to the zoning will be updated in real time as new resolutions for change are signed by the Board of Commissioners.  
Banks County zoning definitions can be found in the Banks County GA code ordinances. 
All county zoning code questions are to be directed to the Banks County Planning & Development.
