Banks County E911 always works to provide the best possible, trouble-free emergency network for all callers we serve.  This allows our callers to access Sheriff's Office, Fire, EMS, Rescue and Police services by dialing one phone number, 9-1-1.  We also work to enhance the public safety response and their ability to provide public safety services more efficiently through accurate and timely dispatching services.

Emergency Management Agency

The Banks County Emergency Management Agency (also known as EMA) is based on the requirements of the Georgia Emergency Management Act of 1981, as amended December 1992.  Emergency Management is charged with creating and maintaining the framework within the community to reduce vulnerability to hazards and cope with disasters.  Banks County EMA conducts these functions with the County and all Cities within the County.  We will always work to mitigate against, prepare for, respond to, and recover from emergencies and disasters.
