From time to time, we have openings for Emergency Telecommunications Professionals/E-911 Dispatchers.

Minimum Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Must have a valid Georgia drivers license with no violations within the last seven years that have not been cleared and no repeated violations.
- Must have a clean criminal background.
- Must be drug-free and submit to a pre-hire drug test followed by a consent to random drug testing as scheduled by Human Resources
- Must be able to work any shift as shifts are not guaranteed; normal shifts are 5:45am-6pm for days and 5:45pm-6am for nights and we do occasionally adjust to power shifts or other needed hours. No shift is guaranteed.
- Must be able to work weekends / holidays / overtime / on-call and for extended periods without leaving such as periods during inclement weather.
- Must be able to work in a confined space for a minimum of 12.25-hour shifts with few breaks and no leaving the site.
- Must possess good communication, listening and hearing skills.
- Must possess a state recognized / accredited High School Diploma or GED.
- Must pass pre-hire typing test of 35 words per minute with no errors.
- Must pass pre-hire radio test.
- Must pass any other currently used pre-hire testing such as Multi-Tasking testing, audio testing etc.
- Must be able to complete the Georgia Police Officer Standards and Training Application and Training for Communications Officers on hire.
- Must submit to a post-hire physical that the applicant provides the employer for the POST application.
- Must be able to attend training away from home for a week or more at a time as well as other on-site training required.
